Worked at Kilome Maternity and Nursing Home at the accounts department, dealt with
different insurances for example; NHIF, Jubilee Insurance, First Med Assurance, Madison,
APA, and different varieties of insurance of medical cover
2nd March to 2nd July 2020: Internship at Makueni Youth Apprentice program
Attached at department of agriculture in the avocado sector where we were doing
monitoring and evaluation of avocado seedlings which were supplied by the county to
different farmers.
Extension work on nursery management of both avocado and macadamia seedlings and
giving advice to farmers on different issues like soil management, manure preparation and
orchard management.
5th August to 31st November 2019: Volunteer at Kwetu Training Center
It has different departments: Beekeeping department (beekeeping trainings and production of
honey both “Multifloral” and “Mangrove” honey through mangrove conservation), Mariculture department, Neem processing (neem products like neem powder, neem candle, neem
oil and neem soap), Outreach (mostly for people living with HIV/AIDS) and Sustainable
Agriculture (agricultural extension work and organic/sustainable agriculture trainings).
