Biography
Dr. Caron Goode was a licensed psychotherapist, who entered the fields of life coaching and
parenting coaching after 2000. She is a two-time award-winning author and small business
owner. Gifted with compassion and a deep desire to assist others in reaching their highest
potential, Dr. Goode has become a well-respected global leader in the parent and relationship
coaching and self-growth industries.
In addition to founding and operating the Academy for Coaching Parents International that trains
professionals in the HeartWise® relationship model of parenting and coaching, Dr. Goode is
called on by the media as a parenting, coaching, and self-growth expert. Appearing in over 300
publications, including Parents Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens and on various local
and national radio programming, Dr. Goode has shared her holistic approach to achieving
parenting success and managing family relationships.

Education
• Dr. Goode graduated with a Doctoral Degree from George Washington University in 1983 and
is a licensed psychotherapist.
• She completed post-doctoral certifications in Wellness and Women's Spirituality at the
Institute for Transpersonal Psychology.
• In addition, she holds the titles of National Certified Counselor and Diplomat of the American
Psychotherapy Association.
• Masters of Communication: (1972-73) Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio TX. Major
was communications; Minor was language and minor was learning disabilities.
• Bachelor of Science: (1971) Oklahoma University of Liberal Arts, Major was Speech Therapy
and Deaf Education.

Dr. Goode has been writing since childhood, excelled in creative writing and won awards for
writing and ghostwriting. She has developed educational materials and training parents and
teachers in her role as special education teacher, educational diagnostician, educational
supervisor, trainer, therapist, seminar leader and public speaker, spanning twenty-five years.
She is well versed in academic writing, research, development of training materials,
presentations, online education programs, and trade paperback books and fables. Her specialty
is the nonfiction genre.
She is a national award-winning author and has authored or coauthored 18 books and 20 digital
books. She is a prolific ghostwriter of 68 books and educational programs and training
materials.

fear, became an Amazon international best seller in June 2010 in three categories in four
English-speaking countries. Dr. Goode’s co-authored book, Raising Intuitive Children, has

News. A health and transpersonal psychologist, who turned her passions for people’s stories
