Much like The Rolling Stones without Mick, I would be lost without the
written language; crafting the perfect sentence gives me no greater
satisfaction.

I take your ideas and make them sing through the written word. My
favourite types of writing focus on health and wellness; However, I have
written for a variety of businesses, including a life coach, literary
subscription box, and a children’s clothing company. I also have
extensive knowledge and experience writing about independent school
education and community building.
Moms Who Know —
Blogger, Community Director
2013 - 2014
I created a thriving online and in-person community called Moms Who
Know. MWK was dedicated to connecting local families with health,
entertainment, and social resources. Organising small events benefiting
local businesses and parents was a strong focus.
Acuren — Word Processor
September 2006 - June 2007
I edited, formatted, and prepared technical documents and reports up to
100 pages for four Engineers and their technicians. I had to learn and
understand highly technical terms, ensure reporting accuracy, and format
photos in Photoshop.
WORK
Everyone has something in common. Through truly listening to people
and understanding their motivations, I am able to bring people and ideas
together.

be vegan.
As Community Development Coordinator at an independent school, I
helped build affinity for our organization. This included engaging with
parents, alumni, students, and external businesses. I organized dozens of
events a year, from panels to galas to private dinners. Content creation
increasingly became a part of my portfolio, and I created weekly
newsletters, blog posts, published articles, and participated in
Facebook/LinkedIn groups. I also edited/proofread every document to
come from the department over the past four years.

Meadowridge School — Admissions & Advancement
September 2009 to July 2013 (with a two year leave)
I worked as both Admissions and Advancement Assistant before creating
my own position in Community Development. I provided support to
marketing, communications, fundraising, and admissions. Managing
multiple projects, managers, and priorities was essential to my success.
Tsawwassen Golf Club — Catering Coordinator
July 2007 - July 2008
Supporting the Catering Manager, it was my responsibility to execute all
events in the building (up to three at a time, twice a day). From ensuring
three rooms were set and stocked appropriately, managing service, to
invoicing clients, the days were never short of surprises.
WONDER
If we don’t keep learning, we get boring! It’s a shame they don’t give out
certificates for self-directed learning… But I do have certificates for the
