Start-ups / Small Businesses:
• SFIRT SARL – Interim Manager (part-time) of a family-owned real estate company
leasing oTice spaces. Took over and monitore bookkeeping and monthly management
reports, negotiate with prospective tenants, draft commercial leases in collaboration
with a legal advisor, manage landlord-related maintenance works, and handle tenant
relations.
• Nor Aleppo (Yerevan, Armenia) – Consultant for the layout and launch of a Middle
Eastern cuisine restaurant in 2023. Improved customer journey and visibility by
commissioning a life-sized camel as signage.
• rBlox (Blockchain - Armenia) – Developed a communication strategy and press kit for
VivaTech 2022.
• Latulpa – Supported the development of a communication strategy for a project
involving innovative, autonomous, and eco-friendly housing (2019).
• Repat Armenia – Created slogans, newsletters, and press releases to support the
communication of the 2018 start-up mentorship program.
• Bouigue Développement (Mauritius - 2012) – Within the scope of promoting a luxury
IRS real estate complex (90M€ investment, 25 hectares, 34 villas, 46 apartments, 40room/18-suite hotel, wellness center), developed the full investor and client
documentation package.
Business Units:
• Orange Labs (Orange Group) – Translated lab innovations into marketable products
and services showcased to the EXCOM and key B2B clients and partners during the
2009 Innovation Exhibition.
• MaLigneTV, France Telecom (Orange France) – Interim management role to secure
the IPTV services launch with Canal+ during a hiring freeze prior to Orange’s 2006
rebranding.
International Institutions:
• ECIC Holdings (Indigenous Caribbean banks) – As part of an EU-funded project to
facilitate diaspora remittances from the UK and Europe to the Caribbean, organized
launch and feedback seminars with government oTicials and private stakeholders.
Established a regional media database to disseminate the project’s conclusions.
Large Corporations:
• Hard Rock Café Yerevan (March–Sept. 2022) – As interim marketing &
communications manager, ensured on-time delivery of both teaser campaigns and
corporate-compliant launch campaigns per HRC guidelines.
• Orange Mayotte–Réunion (Oct. 2019 – Dec. 2021) – As interim Chief Operations
OTicer, led a two-year acceleration plan focused on profitability and customer
experience. Implemented a new organization and digital tools, expanded the
distribution network, launched a local-language call center for prepaid clients,
improved logistics processes, and led monthly executive committees. Moved from
third to second place in the mobile market segment.
• ETHIO Telecom – Ethiopia (Oct. 2017 – Apr. 2018) – Monopolistic operator facing
potential market liberalization. Designed a 360° communication strategy positioning
ETHIO Telecom as a future challenger. Led B2B and B2C customer focus groups,
mentored internal creative, marketing and communication teams.
• Djezzy – VEON Group – Algeria (May 2016 – Apr. 2017) – Following a major crisis, took
over as Communications Director during the digital transformation of the operator. Led
the rebranding, successfully launched 4G services, organized a nationwide triplebroadcast to celebrate the company’s 15th anniversary, and initiated programs to
identify and support entrepreneurial talents nationwide.
• ATM Mobilis – Algeria (Apr. 2013 – Apr. 2016) – State-owned mobile operator facing
major challenges with the government-mandated 3G rollout. Reported directly to the
CEO and Deputy CEO, built a disruptive communications strategy with innovative
branding that significantly improved brand perception and led to a #1 ranking in the
bidding process. Audited and upskilled teams across marketing, sales, customer
service, training and IT over three years of deployment.
• Telecom Company of Iran (July – Dec. 2012) – 60,000 employees across 30
independent provinces. Designed an 18-month internal communication strategy to
support organizational transformation. Implemented surveys to assess
communication gaps between middle management and operational teams and
introduced tools like a quarterly internal newsletter.
• Orange Armenia (Sept. 2009 – June 2012) – Brought in to support an inexperienced
local team and secure the operator’s launch. Successfully led marketing and
advertising for the oTers, supported company growth, upskilled marketing and
communications teams, and fostered collaboration with technical teams.
• Orange Niger (Feb. – July 2008) – Managed under pressure due to tight launch
deadlines imposed by a new license. Selected suppliers, negotiated procurement
contracts, developed multilingual customer communication (3 languages),
advertising, website, and launch events amidst challenging country conditions.
• Djezzy – Orascom Telecom Group – Algeria (Apr. 2006 – Dec. 2007) – As marketleading private operator, Djezzy needed to reinforce its leadership. As
Communications Director, managed an $80M annual budget, a team of 19, two
creative agencies and one media agency. Subscriber base grew from 7 to 10 million.
