The HR Track consists of three teams namely Workbrain (Timekeeping), PeopleSoft (HR/Payroll) and Empower (Workforce Management), each with its own Test Managers. Coordinates with other test managers and other track managers for system wide requirements and testing activities. Management of the PeopleSoft Test Team: Oversee and manage the PeopleSoft team in Manila Working closely with the PeopleSoft Development management and business team in identifying test objectives. Create and manage test artifacts and test strategy Creates and monitors test metrics Created templates for test deliverables such as test cases, defect management templates etc. Identify risks and mitigation for project test phases Determine resource and scheduling requirements for the PeopleSoft Test team. Additional general responsibilities: Keep up to date with advances in project management, quality assurance and software testing and look for continual improvement in procedures and policies. Participate fully as a member of the management team, bringing ideas for discussion and representing the Manila team within the project team meeting. Client/ Company:Cambridge University Press – Manila (Contract) Project Duration: Nov. 2013 – April 2014 Primary Role:UAT Manager – Platform Technologies The UAT Team Manager has responsibility for the day to day management of the UAT Team in Manila. The UAT Manager has accountability for the successful completion of UAT work in line with business requirements and for ensuring an effective and efficient process is followed across the team. Key Responsibilities include line managing the UAT Test Lead and other team members as required. Manage recruitment, training and performance appraisal. Working with the Head of Platform Delivery, set goals for the overall direction of the UAT Team, in line with wider business objectives. Participate in procurement processes for any additional testing services required, in line with Cambridge policy. (Contract) Project Duration: May. 2013 – Oct. 2013 Primary Role:UAT Test Manager – Deutsche Bank Project and Role Description: Carlo is a Consultant for Seven Seven Global Services. He is currently deployed as UAT Manager for Deutsche Bank. He handles QA/Testing management for one of DB’s core product. His responsibility includes but is not limited to planning and coordinating the UAT activities of different sub groups affected by the main process under UAT. Daily planning of tests, collation of KPIs, reports and metrics and chairmanship of the daily status calls. Main POC for all activities related to testing process as well as issue coordination. Responsible for keeping the activities in the timeline despite additional adhoc testing. Part of the Operations planning group that involves discussion of updates and future plans for the DKS group. Coordinates activities between IT, UAT group, SME, Tech support and project managers locally and from the UK, senior BAs and developers. He is in charge of managing the testing activities for the end to end process for the client's order and sales system for its mobile products and services. His responsibility includes but is not limited to Developing Test processes and support Test Methodologies, Reviewing Functional requirements to ensure quality results of systems, Coordinating with Project Managers, Technical Leads and QA Specialist for test activities, Executes assigned audit-related tasks during audit preparation, audit response, and closure of audit findings, Liason role with Business analysts, and Production/Development departments. Project Duration: July 2010 – Nov. 2011 Standard Role:Product Lead (Jr. Manager) - ResourceLink Project and Role Description: ResourceLink was one of the three products NorthgateArinso offers. It is an HR management application that is marketed in the European and American region. It is a highly customizable complete HR application that can cater to the local needs of individual clients. Carlo was the Product Lead for ResourceLink European and American division whose responsibility is to manage the Functional Support team, the Technical Support team and the Software Quality Assurance team. His responsibility also includes providing metrics report, risk assessment and management, resource task allocation, resource performance assessment and acts as a single point of contact for European managers and counterparts for the Functional and technical teams. Carlo directly reports to the RL Functional Director for ResourceLink in the UK. Client/ Company:NorthgateArinso Inc. Project Duration: July 2010 – Nov. 2011 Secondary Role:Software Quality Assurance Lead - ResourceLink Project and Role Description: Carlo was the SQA lead for ResourceLink European and American division. His responsibility includes resource task allocation, Test requirement analysis, test case and script creation and review, Test execution schedule and estimation, Defect management and analysis, Creation of metrics monitoring tools, test execution monitoring, coordination with European managers and counterparts, Coordination with developers and counterparts. He also coaches and mentors junior testers and subordinates. He is involved in the System Test phase of the project. Project Duration: July 2010 – Nov. 2011 Other Role:CMMI Process Improvement – Global Testing Group Project and Role Description: Carlo was a core team member as well as a pioneer member of the CMMI Process Improvement Team for NorthgateArinso’s Global Testing Group. His responsibilities include analysis and creation of processes for global rollout and adoption. His scope includes Global Test Strategy development, Test Framework analysis and development, establishing an integration process between Development, Sales and Testing team, develop better capacity planning process, create standard and accurate metrics for project monitoring.
