In August 2014, I worked on a project of over 100 hours for a company creating a website for a philanthropist. Once the project was launched, one of the segments of the U.N. tweeted about its launch. I found it was a valuable experience while working on it. The website is I Imagine. (http://iimagine.org) I worked on the project with two others. I was tasked with creating most of the most important features of the website, and the other two developers worked on it while I was not be-cause we were all in different time zones in different parts of the world.
In the fall of 2015, I was working on a project for Momentous Corp. in Ottawa. Before working at Momentous Corp, I worked at a local company called Ahead of the Web. At that company, I worked on content modification/creation, website creation, and plugin creation for WordPress. On some of the websites, I had to setup some Google ad tracking code so the clicks would be tracked. I also used Google Analytics to analyse what people are clicking on, where they are going after they click on a page, and I used some of the other data to try and help analyse what improvements should be done to the website.
I had been working with Betastream in 2016 developing websites or doing maintenance on web-pages for various corporations and companies big and small. Using Drupal, I modified modules to enhance their functionalities. In WordPress, I worked on developing a website for an e-commerce store. On the e-commerce store, I, with another developer, worked on modifying WooCommerce plugin functionality to support subscription renewal payments, scheduling of payments, and using the wireframes, I built most of the functionality on each page.
Over the past year, I worked on maintenance and new features on a website for a hospitality company in Whistler.
I am a quick learner when it comes to new technologies for websites. I also enjoy working on converting PSD templates to xHTML/WordPress using Bootstrap.
