HUMAN RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL, B.A.-
CORPORATE ACCOMPLISHMENTS, CONTRIBUTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
At every organization that I've been employed, I was able to fully undertake every responsibility and transform them into
significant contributions to the business development and professional accomplishments and additions to my portfolio.
ASCO GROUP - TRINIDA D
I entered ASCO Group when there were a series of external audits scheduled within the Company. I was able to organize and
rectify gaps in HR processes, systems, policies and records to contribute to the attainment of STOW and ISO certifications,
with the first report of zero HR non-conformances.
I have been instrumental in the preparation and submission of more than five (5) tenders and the subsequent award of
various business contracts.
In June of 2017 the company underwent a drastic reduction in manpower. I was involved in the administration of this change
and the restructuring of the HR department which would have reduced by 60%.
Overview of Responsibilities

Review, develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with ASCO Group guidelines, local and
international legislation.
Develop training and succession plans, operational training matrix, associated budgets and competency
evaluations.
Spearhead and advise the disciplinary process i.e. written notifications, warnings, investigations, hearings etc.
Manage the Recruitment and Selection process for all departments.
Administer internal payroll and group employee benefit programs.
Generate and maintain databases to track HR metrics and activities and preparing monthly and quarterly local,
international and client reports.
REINSURANCE COMPANY OF TRINIDAD & TOBAGO - TRINRE
I was initially hired at TRINRE as a temporary HR Assistant to conduct an audit of TRINRE's HR processes and systems,
provide recommendations for realignment and conduct a company-wide update and re-recording of employee data i.e.
personal information, skills, certifications etc. My success in this venture provided the encouragement for the offer of the HR
& Administrator Coordinator position.
Operating as one of only two HR professionals, I was able to jumpstart the process for increased employee engagement
through the planning, creation and implementation of various initiatives, team, builders and training programs. Bolstered by
a policy and procedural overhaul and gradual redevelopment of the HR factor and role in the business, these efforts
generated tangible results in the form of reduced absenteeism and turnover rates, increased attendance at Company events
and a greater level of employee participation and productivity which was evidenced in the achievement of monthly targets.

Coordinate Recruitment and selection for all departments and locations.
Coordination of group employee benefit plans, payroll as well as department and associated invoices, expenses
and budgets.
Planning and execution of employee training and development programs.
Supervision of Administrative staff i.e. kitchen, reception, facilities, Company couriers.
Procurement and inventory administration, facilities and building maintenance for all locations.
PRESTIGE HOLDINGS LIMITED
My experience at Prestige Holdings Limited formed the foundation for my career in Human Resource Management. I was
first hired as a Recruiter, but in a few short months, out of twelve (12) other Recruiters, I was able to increase the number of
staff in my assigned cluster of stores to 100%. I was reassigned to other clusters where I produced comparable results using
innovative and unique techniques.
I was promoted to Recruitment Coordinator where I managed a team of 10 - 15 Recruiters across Trinidad and Tobago and
the existing PHL Brands i.e. KFC, Pizza Hut and later Subway. Under my leadership KFC recruitment percentages climbed
from just below 60% to more than 80% in 2014- the highest it had been in more than ten years.
My position then amalgamated to include more HR related functions such as Training, in addition to increased Recruitment
and Turnover Analysis for each brand and the Corporate arm of the business.
I later introduced and developed the exit interview process which was engineered to promote change at the storefront level
through thorough investigation, rectification and where necessary, disciplinary action.
