I am a Training and Development professional with 16 years experience. During my tenure I have developed a strong skill set in training needs analysis, training design and delivery and development. As a consequence of my work within training I have also developed skills in quality assurance and project management. I have worked in a number of areas including Entrepreneurial development, Hospitality Maintenance and most recently Public Health
I conducted proactive training needs analysis for vocational skills training while working as a Project Manager for the Train to Gain programme a programme focused on the delivery of vocational training to staff at companies across London. I have also carried out proactive TNAs while supervising maintenance training that was delivered to 3000+ maintenance staff. This included using course feedback to improve programme content and delivery. My experience with training delivery includes delivering training in quality customer service, leadership, conflict resolution and train the trainer to supervisory and entry level staff as well as to students preparing for work in the hospitality sector. I also deliver craft-crochet training as part of the services offered by my business.
My course development experience was focused on the design of train the trainer courses target at Maintenance and Security trainers and Public Health professionals. My evaluation experience has been at the reaction, learning and behavior levels of the Kirkpatrick framework. This included delivering post training questionnaires immediately
after customer service training, administering post tests after maintenance training and conducting interviews with participants in Public Health training 3-6 months post training.
In addition to my training experience I also acquired Project Management and quality assurance experience. While
working as a Project Manager with responsibility for the development and implementation of a vocational skills training programme. and as a Consultant with responsibility for the Institutional Accreditation of a Public Health
Agency. I acquired Project Management skills related to project planning, scheduling and achievement of project milestones. Specific skills in the area of quality enhancements, quality audits and developing quality documentation
were acquired while working in quality assurance and consulting.
I also utilise my training development delivery and evaluation skills in running my crochet based business to deliver beginner and advanced training to crochet enthusiasts. I have also developed skills, related to Acccounting, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations.
