I have been working in mainframe application develoment for 5 years in a large brazilian federal bank (CAIXA). I have worked at the project for a new check and saving account system designed to be used by millions of users countrywide. It's a large project with lots of online and batch features using IBM DB2 as the database.

Hard Skills:

• Coding COBOL applications: batch and online using DB2, VSAM, sequential and partitioned files, CICS TS Webservices, CICS TS Containers
• Coding JCL (Job Control Language): running COBOL programms and MVS or DB2 utilities(ex: unload, load, REORG, RUNSTATS)
• Data Model Maintenance : creation and altering of IBM DB2 objetcs using SAP PowerDesigner
• Coding batch execution scheduling tables in BMC Control-M
• Perfomance analysis using Compuware STROBE

Soft Skills:

• Experienced in both waterfall and agile teams
• Work well individually or in teams
• Fast leaner
• Self taught if unfamliar subjects present
