2020 English Teacher, Self-employed
I am currently teaching as a self-employed teacher in Buenos Aires. I market and connect with
new students via my online presence. I create and plan my lessons and materials and deliver
my lessons in person and via Skype. I teach a range of students of varying abilities and
motivations: Business English to employees in the financial sector, Conversational English to
intermediate and advanced students, Cambridge English Exam preparation as well as Beginner
and Travel English.
2019 English Teacher, EVOLC Aliarse
I taught two groups of 30 students each for six months and was teaching on average 24 hours a
week. I prepared the lesson plans and organised the materials needed for each lesson. I
submitted weekly reports to the coordinator regarding the students progress and attended
meetings with other teachers.

I provided line management to staff that support abused women and their children in crisis
using the services. This included providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child
protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of housing
management. I attended external meetings in order to promote the services and engage with
the local and wider community.

I managed 6 accommodation based services. I provided line management and support to 13
staff including providing supervision, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high
standards of housing management. I ensured that contractual and other funding requirements
were met fully. I completed monthly and quarterly statistical reports to senior management and
the Director of Operations.

Peripatetic Domestic Violence Team Leader, Refuge
My role was to coordinate the team of Peripatetic Workers. I liaised with senior management
and project managers on a daily basis. I recruited and inducted the new peripatetic team
members and ensured that the training needs of the whole team were met. I covered the
Peripatetic worker role when there was a need and also the Deputy Manager and Project
Manager roles when necessary.

VOLUNTARY EXPERIENCE
2018 English Teaching Volunteer, Sky Katitawa, Ecuador
Sumak Kawsay Yachay (SKY) is a community project in the indigenous Andean village of Salasaka,
Ecuador. I volunteered with them for 6 weeks whilst I was travelling through South America in
2018. Part of my responsibilities were planning and teaching English classes at the local high
school as well as coordinating and teaching English classes in the community to children, young
adults and adults.
2016 English teaching volunteer, Uganda
I volunteered with a community project in rural Uganda, part of which involved assisting in the
English lessons at the high school.
