Proofread the final report. Recognize and evaluate inconsistencies and inaccuracy in a medical dictation that needs to be flagged or clarified. Distribute directly to the clients the edited reports. Transcribe voice file when needed. Informs the supervisor any reports for deletion, reports on hold, reports with inconsistencies. As a Medical Transcriptionist: Transcribe voice files such as follow-up reports, history and physical examinations, etc. Check if all the patient demographics are correct. Proofread the transcribed report. Flag all inconsistencies found in the report. As a Medical Technologist: Receive and identify patient correctly, and identify the patient’s specific clinical examinations. Perform laboratory tests such as CBC, urinalysis, fecalysis, pregnancy test, semen analysis, hepatitis-B screening test. Type and release the laboratory results accurately. Make the daily, monthly, and annual census. Coordinate and reports directly to the chief medical technologist and pathologist regarding the developments as well as problems with regard to the Laboratory Department.
