About

For over two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of design, storytelling, and human connection—translating complex ideas into experiences that invite exploration, foster understanding, and inspire action. My background bridges editorial art direction, UX/UI, branding, and community-based projects, giving me the flexibility to move fluidly between strategy and execution.

My process always starts with listening—understanding the needs, values, and aspirations of the people at the heart of a project. From there, I craft design solutions that go beyond aesthetics, focusing on how each element can guide perception, deepen engagement, and leave a lasting impression. That might mean developing a visual identity that instantly communicates credibility, shaping a digital experience that draws people in and keeps them exploring, or creating participatory installations that invite communities to tell their own stories.

In the newsroom at CNN and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, I learned how to distill urgent, complex narratives into clear and compelling visuals. In academia, I taught emerging designers to think critically about the role design plays in shaping culture and conversation. In my community work, I’ve built projects that use sound, space, and interaction to connect neighbors and strengthen local networks. Across all of it, the throughline has been a commitment to work that matters—work that earns trust by being thoughtful, transparent, and grounded in purpose.

I’m as comfortable designing within highly structured brand systems as I am inventing new ones. I’ve created multi-channel campaigns, interactive media, public-facing events, and identity systems that hold together under real-world use. My toolkit includes Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, creative coding, and collaborative prototyping methods—but more importantly, I know when to push pixels, when to step back, and when to bring in other voices.

If you need a designer who can help you connect your mission to your audience in a way that feels authentic and impactful, I can help. I bring strategic thinking, a collaborative spirit, and a belief that good design should not only solve problems—it should open doors, shift perspectives, and create space for something new to happen.

Let’s work together to design experiences that people remember not just for how they look, but for how they made them feel.
