Creating a Simple Funnel Page (Landing Page)
on HighLevel
The images in this project walk through how a basic funnel page, also called a landing
page, is created inside GoHighLevel. I used an existing page from the funnel template
library and explained the simplest steps needed to build a clean, functional landing
page. This includes how to use GoHighLevel’s drag-and-drop tools, widgets, and
editing features to create a marketing-ready page quickly and without technical
stress. The goal is to show how a simple framework can be turned into a complete,
user-friendly funnel page.

The images (page 3 & 4) walk through the first steps of creating a simple funnel page inside GoHighLevel.
The process starts from the main Executive Dashboard, where you can see key metrics like Opportunity
Status, Conversion Rate, and Funnel stages. This is important for Pipeline Health Analysis because it helps
identify gaps or drop-off points before building anything. It ensures the funnel you create later is based on
real data, not guesswork.
From the dashboard, the next step is clicking the Sites button on the left sidebar. This section contains
Funnels, Websites, and Memberships. This shows Platform Fluency, because in GHL, Funnels and Websites
serve different goals, Funnels focus on high-conversion actions, while Websites support general brand
awareness.
The screenshots then move into the Funnels Library, where projects like “Sales Page Template,” “TEST
FUNNEL,” and “Webinar Test” are displayed, each with its step count. This reflects Campaign Infrastructure
Management, proving the ability to organize multiple funnel builds at once. Options like “Create Folder” and
“New Funnel” also show that the platform is set up for Scalable Architecture, making it easy to manage,
launch, or A/B test new funnel pages as needed.

The images (page 6-8) show the next stage of building a funnel in GoHighLevel, the moment when you
choose how the funnel will be created. After clicking into the funnel section, a pop-up appears with three
options: start from scratch, use Funnel AI, or pick a ready-made template. This reflects an Agile Development
Strategy, because it lets you choose the fastest and most effective method based on the project. Using
templates supports Rapid Prototyping, while Funnel AI highlights the platform’s ability to use generative tools
for quick content creation.
The following screenshot displays the Template Library, filled with high-quality funnel designs organized by
industry: Business, Coaching, Automotive, and more. This supports Niche-Specific Optimization, making it
easy to pick a layout already proven to convert in that market. Instead of building everything manually, you
can select a structure that fits the brand and customize it as needed.
The final image (page 8) shows a fullscreen preview of a “Weight Management Program” landing page. It
highlights key elements that support Conversion Rate Optimization, including a strong headline, a visible
lead form, and device preview toggles. This helps confirm mobile responsiveness and overall layout quality
before importing and editing the page.

The image (page 10) shows the GoHighLevel page builder, where I edit and design a funnel or landing page
using a full no-code drag-and-drop environment. The left sidebar includes all the tools needed to build the
page, Quick Add, Rows, Elements, and more, while the top bar provides device previews and extra controls.
This setup makes it easy to create a clean, high-converting layout without writing code.
The Rows section offers different column layouts, from 1 to 6 columns. This supports Responsive Grid Design,
helping me structure the page properly instead of placing elements randomly. Using specific column splits
allows me to control spacing, visual hierarchy, and how content adjusts across desktop and mobile screens.
The Text category includes Headline, Sub-Headline, Paragraph, and Bullet List blocks. These are essential for
Direct Response Marketing, helping me present the value proposition clearly. Keeping headline structure
organized also supports SEO and makes the page easier for visitors to scan.
The device icons at the top let me switch between desktop and mobile views, ensuring Mobile-First
Optimization. This helps me adjust padding, font sizes, and visibility for phone users.
With Quick Add, Prebuilt Sections, and Saved Assets available, I can drag in ready-made blocks like
testimonials, footers, or CTAs. This speeds up the workflow and keeps the design consistent across all funnel
pages.

The images (page 12 & 13) show the stage where the funnel moves from a simple layout to a more interactive
and engaging page. This is done through the Widget Marketplace and the Forms & Surveys section inside
GoHighLevel. Together, they help boost User Engagement and improve Lead Data Collection.
The Widget Marketplace displays extra tools like Pricing Cards, Slide Show Carousels, Testimonial Templates,
and Social Share Buttons. These help upgrade the design beyond the default builder options. By installing
these widgets, I can add more interactive elements and present important information, such as offers or
social proof, in a cleaner, more engaging way.
The second image (page 13) shows the Forms and Surveys modal, where I can choose to create a new form
or add an existing one directly inside the page editor. This keeps the Lead Capture process smooth and
aligned with the funnel’s visual design. It also allows me to collect zero-party data that can be used for
segmentation and automation.
The “Install” and “Add Existing Form” buttons highlight how reusable assets and downloaded widgets make
the workflow faster. I can pull in standard forms or features across multiple funnels, helping maintain brand
consistency and speed up future campaign builds.

The images (page 15-18) show the Design Optimization Phase, where the funnel moves from a basic layout to
a clean, well-designed page. At this point, I fine-tune elements like text style, layout structure, and page
settings to make sure everything looks polished and works smoothly across all devices.
The Layers panel on the left displays the structure of the page, such as "Section > 2 Column Row > Section."
This helps me understand how each element is nested. Using the Layers panel is important for fixing layout
issues, selecting hidden elements, and ensuring the page remains responsive and stable on mobile and
desktop.
On the right side, the Typography settings appear when text is selected, showing options like font size
(22px), weight (600 Semi-Bold), bold, italic, and color. These tools allow me to create a clear visual
hierarchy, making sure important text stands out and the reading flow feels natural. This directly supports
better User Experience (UX) and improves conversions.
The Pages sidebar shows the funnel steps (Optin, Checkout, Thank You), along with editable settings like the
footer background. This helps maintain design consistency across all pages and ensures the entire customer
journey flows correctly from one step to the next.
