Reporting to the Vice President for Latin America (based in Rhode Island), I was responsible for the success and profitability
of GTECH’s operations in Trinidad & Tobago. My team of forty-seven (47) staff, operated and maintained the national
online electronic transaction network consisting of approximately, eight hundred and thirty (800) points of sale. During my
tenure, I lead the transition from an in-house fixed radio network to an outsourced mix of GPRS and fixed IP Radio while
increasing the customer base by 35%. We also became the second market in the world to introduce mobile handheld
lottery terminals. All of this translated into a 60% increase in revenue over five (5) years
Through this wireless network, we delivered lottery games, bill payment and mobile airtime top-up services to customers
across the country. We were also responsible for formulation and execution of all marketing plans and budgets.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO LIMITED (TSTT)

Reporting to the Vice President – Mobile Services, I lead the company’s Mobile Sales Team, which consisted of two hundred
and thirty (230) persons. My responsibilities included satisfying the requirements of our Retail Customers, Corporate
Customers, Dealers and Resellers.
Under my leadership, the team successfully grew the mobile customer base from 60,000 to over 800,000. Revenue
contributions to the company over the period grew from less than 10% to over 40% and were in excess of US$150m.
My team led the development of a channel network of company owned retail stores (from five (5) to seven (7) locations)
and Dealer retail outlets (from sixty (60) to one hundred and twenty-five (125) locations). We also successfully lead the
introduction of prepaid mobile service, migrated the mobile customer base form TDMA to GSM and then GPRS
technologies and introduced Mobile Internet, Electronic Top-Up and Calling Party Pays (CPP).

services to all Corporate Customers in North Trinidad and Tobago. This function was effected through Field Sales
Representatives, Telemarketers and Administrative Support staff.
The services sold included: data and voice circuits, ISDN, Frame Relay, PABXs and integrated network solutions. Our
customer portfolio includes clients with single location, national and regional operations.
