Summary
Graduated from Colorado State University in May of 2018 with a B.S. in Zoology. Research based curriculum provided
countless hours of experience collecting, analyzing and compiling data. Presenting grant proposals and research
projects taught me how to take criticism / feedback constructively and make appropriate changes moving forward.
Internship with W.O.L.F. in 2017 gave me experience working as a team in high stress environments. Examples include
monitoring first contact introductions and conducting a highly organized emergency evacuation of a semi-lucid wolf
from a mountainside enclosure. It also taught me how to interact with the public diplomatically while
simultaneously addressing misconceptions about and advocating for the goals of our organization.
Internship at Rescued Friends had me working closely with founders Von Bortz and Amy Smith in day to day
sanctuary operations. Additionally I helped prepare fundraising efforts, interacted with and educated members of the
public during outreach events, and helped train and evaluate new volunteers.
At Bon Chien I supervised the 5 dog care areas, as well as performed routine building maintenance and inventory
management. High profile and highly particular clients helped discretion and detail to become second nature.
