Brett Davis

My focus in on technical writing, grant writing, proposals, and reports with a dose of resume work thrown in.

I have over 25 years experience in professional and technical communications. I spent most of that time in various capacities at a medical facility. First in the I.T. department as a programmer and systems analyst, and culminating in Administration as the Director of Business Services. In that capacity I was responsible for a number of departments including I.T., Accounting/Finance, Billing, and Facilities.

After two decades I decided to change careers and use my communications skills in the freelance arena. I am completing my B.A. degree in Professional and Technical Communication at the University of South Florida and am a member of the Society of Technical Communication.

In the last few years I have worked with 501(c)(3) organizations in the area of grant writing and have been awarded numerous grants for a variety of organizations.
