Branan Smith

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Software Engineering, and throughout my degree I have utilized my skills to build various projects, mostly involving web development technologies. I have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Express.js, and Node.js.

My most recent project I built for my current workplace. It takes the photo that my supervisor sends in a group chat shared by all employees and extracts important schedule information from it. From there, it formats the data and neatly presents it onto a website, so that myself and other coworkers can view what time they have to work by simply going to the website. I made this as an easier alternative to sifting through many pages of documents.

I am also AWS Certified, having completed my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in December 2024, I am familiar with the cloud technologies and their uses for modern day projects, and will be looking to acquire more certifications to further my knowledge.

Aside from technical skills, I consider myself a great communicator, having worked in customer service for most of my life. I know how to have and handle difficult conversations and take constructive criticism to heart. Above all I consider myself someone pleasant to be around and talk to in general.
