Hi,

I am writing to apply for the above role.

I have over 6 years’ experience of working as Marketing Manager for a Multinational firm and believe I am perfectly suited for the role. Since it was a fairly small firm I had to wear multiple hats and juggle between different responsibilities. These included Online Marketing, Social Media Management, Customer Support (both phone as well as email/chat support), Ecommerce Support, Telemarketing, Admin Support etc

I was responsible for answering all incoming customer queries which included product enquiries, delivery enquiries, complaints, general feedback, returns/refund queries etc. I also answered queries we received on social media platforms like Facebook page/chat, Instagram etc. I also helped set up the ticketing system for inbound customer queries which helped us a keep a track of all pending issues and close them as they got resolved.

I was also responsible for generating potential leads for the business. I did so by calling a list of potential buyers which included wholesalers, retailers, direct buyers, purchase departments heads, traders, and also supermarket stores. The idea was to call potential leads and, if there was interest, arrange for a face to face meeting with them along with our company Managing Director and discuss potential business propositions.

Apart from this I have also worked on a number of freelance projects as a customer support as well as telemarketing professional. One of my recent projects was to generate registration leads for a US-based Dental Clinic for a seminar they were hosting and wanted to invite dentists/doctors from the west coast to attend the same. I helped get 27 confirmed registrations for the event. The client was extremely satisfied with my performance and thus extended my role to do the same for their Cincinnati office. In another project, I helped a financial services firm get attendance for an open-house they were hosting by calling a list of contract attorneys and motivating them to attend the same.

I also worked as a customer support executive for an iPhone Case manufacturing company and answered all their inbound customer queries via phone, email, chat, facebook chat, and Freshdesk.

I believe I have all the necessary skills as well as relevant experience that make me a suitable fit for the role.
