My story with data didn't start behind a computer screen, it begun on the field. For years I worked with Ghana Statistical Service, going to households and establishments for information across regions. This role taught me the importance of data integrity from the very source. This experience means I never forget that behind every dataset are real people and real stories. This grounding allows me to not just analyze numbers, but to understand them.

Wanting to bridge the gap between collecting data and truly unlocking its potential, I dedicated myself to learning the technical side of analysis. I immersed myself in Python, SQL and Power BI, skills I now use as a freelancer to help businesses untangle their data and discover the stories within. For example, I recently worked on a key project, an analysis of Canadian household spending data, using Python and Power BI to identify high-potential provincial markets for clients. The project involved cleaning a large dataset, performing exploratory analysis, and building visualizations that revealed where demand for specific goods and services was strongest, directly informing market entry strategies. I thrive on the challenge of working remotely and independently, managing projects from inception to delivery while communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Looking forward, I am eager to bring my unique blend of field-based data wisdom and technical analytical skills to a collaborative and innovative team. My goal is to find a team where I can be a bridge-connecting raw data to real-world strategy. I'm looking for a role where my unique perspective from the field to the dashboard, can contribute to meaningful work. I want to collaborate with others who are passionate about using data not just for insight, but for genuine impact.
