About

Good Day,
My name Is Bernardo L. Huertas Jr. I am 30 years of age. I have been doing online freelancing for almost five years now. I can say that I have done a lot of job as a freelancer since I started doing it. The first I had was Telemarketing, doing lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting and online presentation for the same client. I would consider it the best training I had entering this field of work because I was doing all functions as instructed to me by my boss. It was a company based in Spain but focuses there services in the US. The company offers a social media platform called HiSocial. My boss gives me the nature of business that I need to search, put them in an excel sheet and call those leads for information and then call them again another day to get into a conversation with the owner or Decision Maker and schedule them for a webinar/online presentation, which is also done by me. While doing the presentation either through Hangout or Skype, along with us online is my client who serves to answer any question I have no knowledge yet, and if shows interest, go for it and try to close the deal. That job really thought me how to do things in online freelancing, specifically in the Telemarketing field. Before I decided to homebased online job, I was a Customer Service Consultant for AT&T U-verse under the supervision of Sutherland Global Services. The experience I had with AT&T really carved skills which was really helpful in every job I had online. Skills like multitasking, customer service, fluency in speaking English both written and verbal, i became a result-driven individual and being versatile and adjust to every situation given to me. Like what I said, I had a lot of experiences as a freelancer and one of those longest running job I had was for a company based in Minnesota. A company called National Carry Academy, formerly Online Carry Training and Midwest Carry Academy before the owner decided to merge both company and make it one website to make it in one system. I worked as a Virtual Assistant for the owner himself, doing customer service on the phone, email, and chat. I ran two CRM applications during my working hours, one for OCT and the other for MCA. OCT serves online courses for individuals who needs a certificate to have a Permit to Carry Firearms in most parts of the US, while MCA offers actual courses like gun shooting, handling, and more that also serves a certificate needed to get a Permit to Carry firearm in the US. Multitasking at its best I can say because, I had to response to customers for both websites and not just that, I was also given other tasks like data research and cold calling for gun shops who would like to avail of our promotions. The owner decided to pause the project until merging of the two websites were done. They called me after a couple of months, but I wasn't doing VA work for them anymore but they made me data research expert and I had some people to lead and reports there progress to me. The example I attached is one of the running data compilation I made. Until now, they are using the same thing through Google Document as per my former researcher advise. I had to stop working because of family reason and also some health issues. I came back doing online job again after a month but decided to do data mining, research and entry. I had a previous job as a recruiter for Mandella Agencies for a month and after an Appointment Setter for Caring.com. I am up to every job given to me and I live to what I believe that quitting is never an option. I hope yo will give me a chance to have this job and prove my worth as an asset for the company and never be a liability. I am looking forward to your response. Thank you so much and more power.
Sincerely yours,
Bernardo L. Huertas Jr
