With over 20 years’ experience working as an Architect and Construction Projects Manager, I have overseen both residential and commercial design projects, built and delivered on developments worth over (US) $300million, leading more than 200 construction staff and contractors in large contract administration.

Senior Architectural Documentation
Ignite successfully delivers master planning, architectural and interior design projects throughout New Zealand and in other locations worldwide.
Responsibilities
Completed DA and CC for the refurbishment of a four-level shopping centre with an approximately 56,000 sqm. The refurbishment included Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Food Court, Shops and Offices.
Completed the entire modelling of Hoyts Cinemas in Blacktown of a total of 10 rooms as per follow: 1 Xtreme with capacity for 226 people; 5 Xtreme with capacity for 256 people each; 3 regulars with capacity for 90 people and 2 regulars with capacity for 77 people. This project was completed in 2 weeks. This project was a total of 1316 seats and I was also responsible for the main entry, amenities, concourse and bar lounge.
Completed a DA and layout for mix used complex of residential and retirement located in Moolloolaba, QLD. The building also included carpark with capacity for 947 cars.

Senior Architectural Documentation
The Bathla Group is part of the Universal Property Group, a Sydney-based industrial property investment company.
Responsibilities
Completed modelling for 270 residential units including project analyses and review in less than three months.
Selected to be the Senior Architect for one of the most important project of the company to deliver the design of 300 townhouses. I was allocated to this project for about six weeks to enable the team to meet the short deadline keeping the quality standards.
Analysed and improved the layout of a mix used for retail and residential to ensure its meeting all the standards including landscape, structure, services, mechanical, hydraulic and electric.

Drafting – Free Lancer
I was responsible for designing a condominium of 6 units for a group of investors. After finishing the concept and design, my work was progressed to Council approval (Council of Canning in WA)
I also drafted the renovation of two private houses in Perth – WA and of a Cellar Door in Sydney – NSW.

I founded Beny Schuchman Architects in May 2008 with a goal of offering modern and functional architecture. I directed both day-to-day and strategic activities, involving provision of architectural/project management solutions, as well as drawing and presentation to new prospects and current clients.
Achievements
I worked on projects such as refit of a Jewellery Store on Oscar Freire Street, Sao Paulo (according to Excellence Mystery Shopping International Oscar Freire Street is the 8th most luxurious street in the world).
Managed the Fit-out for a high-end retailer at a top end shopping centre (Shopping Ibirapuera – Sao Paulo).
Projected and managed the construction of 2 branches stores for the Federal Bank of Brazil (Caixa Economica Federal).
I also worked for Strata Managements designing and implementing manuals and reference guides taking in consideration on local laws, aesthetics and functionality, including all specifications and details. While working for GK Strata (one of the biggest strata management in Brazil), I was also responsible for analyse and approve all building projects before and after construction.
