I am a secondary school teacher for 3 years now. I was also the news editor during my college days. Teaching and writing are close to my heart, they are my passion, they are my life. I also wrote poem, on a daily basis, I really find it interesting to express our emotions through weaving manuscripts from the heart. It is just so fulfilling!
When typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) hit the Philippines, particularly in our region, in Eastern Visayas, I felt hopeless, I saw how people screamed to their death. Luckily, during those times of trials, I found out an alternative, I found a shock absorber- that is through writing.
I am now teaching, but my heart also beats for writing, I am willing to serve other people through my writing, writing that is seasoned not only by fair weather, but throughout the times when the strongest typhoon ever recorded reached the earth!
