As a devoted IT professional and a holder of degree in Business Information Technology, I
have acquired strong technical skills from my 5 years work experience. I offer my services
through Knowledge and extensive solid practical experience of working with computer

Mombasa Cement LTD| Feb-2015- Current| ICT systems support Administrator.
• Provide support, guidance and training to users on how to operate new software and
computer equipment.
•In charge of domain i.e. creating new users, managing passwords and email registration as
required by the company
• Test, Install, configure, upgrade and update new computer systems and hardware this also
includes setting up peripherals such as printers, projectors, routers and switches.
• Managing firewalls (Sophos) as well as troubleshooting network-related service issues
including performance, outages and anomalous behaviors. This includes liaising with the
external Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for support whenever need arises.
• Managing the Local area network (LAN) devices including application and file servers,
printers, client computers, and Wireless access points (WAP).
• Organize and schedule backups, upgrades and general maintenance without deterring
others from completing their work.
• Worked with different software and ERP systems including, Microsoft Office 2007 & 2013
suites, Adobe Professional, SAP ECC 6.0, Precision mark, Time and attendance master.

how to work with SAP system, a new ERP system introduced to the company in November
2015.

deadline. This includes upgrading of operating system from windows XP to windows 7 as well
as installation and configuration of SAP system.

VitalBytes LTD is a company that deals with sale of ERP software both locally and
internationally. I was employed as a Technical system support analyst and my core
responsibilities were to;
Provide direct support to the customers via phone, emails and even one-to-one basis.
Work with clients and systems engineer on the following tasks; installation,
maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems and peripherals within
established standards and guidelines
Troubleshoot helpdesk tickets with minimal supervision
Quickly isolate issues and resolve them or report them to Systems Engineer with a
proposed solution
Act as front-line software support to answer phone calls and electronic tickets to
resolve end user’s problems
Troubleshoot, research and provide excellent customer service to resolve customer
issues

Registration Clerk
Employed as a registration clerk at Chepkitach Tallying Centre. This was a pilot-project for the
Government in implementation of biometric Voter Registration System. It was a short term
contract job, nevertheless, I was able to grasp a few skills during the period that includes the
ability to build a rapport with different personalities, gained confidence and composure while
dealing with different people of different age and professionals.
