(August 2024-December 2024) As a Data Analyst at Northwestern Mutual (NML), worked with the Data Governance organization to better manage NML data exchanges with external entities by:
Identifying the type of information (Personal, Proprietary, Internal, and Public) being shared with external entities.
Confirming the need for sensitive data being shared with the external entities.
This included creating and managing surveys for stakeholders to specify the types of information they require and share (with others). From there, changes can be made to ensure the minimum amount of data is shared.

A replacement (of a Bentley Utilities Designer) gas/electric/land geospatial design tool with Design Manager from GE.
A Smallworld (by GE) gas/electric/land geospatial management tool upgrade, as well as 25 integrations (including SAP) associated with Smallworld.
Mapped out, managed, and helped test the requirements and processes for the upgrade of GeoDigital's WorkStudio Pole and Vegetation Management systems, along with VegWorker, the handheld application that enable the real-time reporting of vegetation maintenance of Distribution and Transmission lines.
Completed (joined mid-project) the requirements for a drone solution that specifies Transmission power line drone flights, taking, recording, and reporting photos as drones fly the power lines. The photos are then analyzed for structural defects and corrective actions, resulting in reduced cost and time to repair.
Led the development and testing of requirements and specifications to replace Opvantek's Optimain DS tool with JANA's Copperleaf Integrity Management (CIM) application. CIM uses historical industry data on Xcel's Gas Distribution Integrity Management Program to assess the current piping assets (such as pipes and valves) and make risk-mitigation decisions (what assets to replace/repair).
Assisted (joined mid-project) in the upgrade of AssetWorks' Fleet Management System (trucks, autos, trailers...). (August 2014-June 2016) As a Senior Business Analyst, mapped out, developed and managed the processes and requirements and 3rd party development of a web-based wireless system that tracks and displays the “last seen” location of all bags for a given flight at an airport. This allows the quick retrieval and loading of bags onto the departing aircraft, as well as rerouting of bags when passengers change their itinerary. As a Project Manager, used SharePoint and an iterative development methodology to manage an international development with Air France, KLM, and Alitalia to exchange bag messages between airlines, so bags can be proactively managed and tracked across airlines. Created and managed the Task (WBS), Requirements, Communications, Resource, Risk, Issue, Financial, and Implementation project plans.
