Checking for attendance in all the muster rolls on a monthly basis and notifying the human resources manager of absenteeism. Updating all staff files and maintaining staff records properly. Making orders for all staff name tags and safety shoes, maintaining proper records of all orders and dispatching them to their respective units. Checking employee attendance in the biometric machine and saving both daily and monthly reports while updating old and new employees onto the machine. Maintain overtime records for Procurement staff who make deliveries out of our unit. Keep records & photocopies of Food Handler’s Medical Certificates for staff and ensure they are renewed every 6 months. Keep records of all staff attending Occupational Safety & Health, First Aid and Fire Safety Awareness trainings. Keep an updated schedule for staff’s leave days and update it on a monthly basis. Maintain records on how many employees have staff identification cards and new employees who need one while making the order on a needed basis. Assist in drafting trainee letters after collecting relevant documents, orienting them and making timetables for those trainees who are posted in our unit. Disburse contributions collected to staff that are either bereaved or need medical assistance. Search for job applicants, attend interviews when requested and give opinions. Prepare staff files when requested and collect relevant documents to be used in the payroll. Assist the accountant with payroll data entries when requested. Assist in updating NSSF statements for staff who may have discrepancies in their statements.
