Becky Nkem Sayeh

I am a multidisciplinary tech professional with 4 years of experience spanning UI/UX design, quality assurance, and project management. My journey began with a strong passion for creating intuitive and meaningful user experiences.

Starting in UI/UX design, I learned how to deeply understand user needs, translate ideas into wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with developers to bring digital products to life. This early foundation taught me the value of human-centered design and how crucial it is to the success of any product.

As I became more involved in the development lifecycle, I transitioned into quality assurance, where I developed expertise in both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. I’ve worked on projects across aviation, fintech, and e-commerce, ensuring that products are not only visually appealing but also functionally reliable and user-friendly. I have led efforts in writing test plans, designing test cases, and using tools like Postman, Cypress, and Jira to support agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Over time, my experience with cross-functional teams and my natural leadership skills led me to take on project management responsibilities. I have successfully managed product lifecycles from ideation to delivery, coordinating sprints, managing communication between stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with business goals. I am confident working in Agile and Scrum environments, and I strive to create team cultures that are collaborative, transparent, and goal-oriented.

What makes my approach unique is the blend of design thinking, quality assurance discipline, and project management. I am able to view products holistically from user experience to back-end functionality and contribute strategically at each stage. I take pride in ensuring that products are not only built right, but built with purpose.

I’m also passionate about continuous learning and impact.

Outside of my professional roles, I have been involved in digital literacy and tech advocacy initiatives through organizations like Women Techmakers and Slum2School, using my skills to support education and empowerment in my community.
