WORK
I started work at 13 in a barber shop, I then worked in retail then as a cleaner before joining the hospitality trade at 17. At ages 19, I was working at the bar in a holiday club when they open a Costa coffee attached to the bar. I was trained by Costa to run the add on and learnt all the skills to become a Barista. I then worked in a variety of bars and restaurants with an agency before being offered a job as an acting manager at a café at the Durlston Country Park in Swanage. When I turned 21, I started working at the Slug and Lettuce in Bournemouth where I eventually became a manger. When I turned 25 I wanted to try something new so I started a very challenging course at the local college in order to go to university to become a Midwife. I did not complete the university course due to Covid. I then started working for the local council as a courier and mailroom assistant, this was another challenge as the role was extremely varied and I learnt so many things. I decided to leave the council in August 2024 to explore other ventures, one venture I started was an up cycling furniture business which I very much enjoy. I am extremely hard working and revel at a challenge.

Hobbies
I started playing Rugby a couple of years ago and I completely fell in love with it. I play 2nd row and I was the bar managers at the clubhouse for a season. The team work on and off the field is remarkable and the men’s and women’s team do loads of events and team building exercises together. I also made a New Year’s resolution at the start of the year to read at least one book a month and I am achieving this. I also enjoy crafts and water sports. I live with my fiancé and our rescue one eyed black cat called Bandit.
