Andes TMW is a work package that aims to rationalize resources (people and systems) in BTs’ TMW
platform. The Andes Programme, as a whole, is a process led Transformation Programme for BT Global
Services that aims to reduce the systems estate by 75% while improving customer experience. It covered
700+ systems in 25+ countries. This size necessitated division of the program into manageable work
streams. Andes needed to deliver high level customer experience user stories (solution level requirements)
through the L2C, T2R and C2M processes.

Pegasus is a convergent mediation solution that processes usage data received from network elements
for revenue calculation and ensures subscriber service activation. It has the capability to collect data of
various types of transaction from different network elements, transform the data and deliver it to end
applications such as charging, rating, and billing.
The product has three-tier architecture: Java front end, UNIX/C++ business layer, and Oracle database.
SimuTool:
Simulates network elements for mediation products. It is developed in Java.
Made the following contributions to Pegasus and SimuTool:
Designed test cases for product modules based on requirements and functional specifications. Executed
end-to-end application and regression testing and prepared test logs for analysis.
Executed product interface testing; recommended HCI improvements.
