This experience has given me organization skills, autonomy and associative participation. I was also treasurer of the Secção de astronomia da associação académica da universidade de Coimbra (astronomy section of the student association of the university of Coimbra), where we develop projects associated with astrophysics and spread knowledge of the subject of astronomy in the form of lectures and astronomical observations. The section helped me develop team work, communication and the ability to make constructive criticism. It has also encouraged me to self-study about several areas of expertise Additionally I participated in the European BEST engineering competition in 2017 and 2018 where I gained a sense of focus and determination I was also present in the Agrupamento de escolas do Areal Amato Lusitano (middle school) in the eight of March of 2017 to make an experimental physics activity more dynamic, where I had a first understanding of the basics of teaching. Furthermore I was also part of the initiative of the nucleus of physics students “Aprender a brincar” (learning to play) that took place at the paediatric hospital of Coimbra, where we did physics experiments for the enjoyment of the hospitalized patients. attachments
