Project Description
CITIBANK has many applications which has its own workflow to do a certain activity like transferring PI data to the clients, sending cash order files to vendors, handling phone workstations, fraud management and fully managed services etc.
The clients can order cash via applications and access many more functionalities. All these modules are tightly coupled with each other which provide Control, Traceability and Efficiency in the business. These applications help to run the business as usual to complete the business activities.
The application is developed in JAVA , Servlets & JSP for user Interface, Oracle 10 for the database, RHEL 6 linux server and hosted in WAS.. The project involves performing the implementation i.e creating a separate instance of the application for different functionality and providing technical support as well.
The application code is provided by NCR , however modifications is made as per the customer requirement such as third party authentications, customizations in functionalities, making new services etc and the application is hosted in single or multiple servers as per the customer requirement with different environments like IST, UAT & Production/COB etc.
Roles and Responsibilities
•Worked as a customer SPOC for the application and interacted with Client to gather requirements and designing & developing the application as per requirement .
• Performing code wise configurations in backend java as per customer requirements.
• Worked on the JAVA/J2EE platform with spring and hibernate framework used applications
•Fetching reports from the database for the users and creating different views as per their requirement.
•Experience in developing plsql procedures and functions.
• Created new Procedures for integration of user details from Third party databse to the application.
•Performed Live Production Implementation of the application from JAVA backend.
•Developed new executable JAR files that can perform certain activity to fulfill BAU.
•Responsible for preparing reports with Application usage statistics & monitoring patching/upgrade application related activites
• Worked on the ServiceNow Management to implement the new code in the application
