Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Baha and I am a Ruby on Rails developer from Kazakhstan. I graduated from Boston University as a Manufacturing Engineer and learned software development during my free time (through online courses on coursera.org and edx.org). Projects and technologies I have worked with:

everydaylist.herokuapp.com - A todo app to learn React.js for Rails (solo developer);

gameguru.io - A blog app (solo developer)

polety.kz - A flight schedule app for Kazakhstan airports (solo developer). Learned how to setup and schedule background processes;

A socially aggregated news website - A website similar to reddit and news.ycombinator.com

Backend as a Service app - A Parse-like service. During this project learned a lot about PostgreSQL, especially new features JSONB and HSTORE for schemaless data (junior developer);

Good understanding of heroku platform and aws infrastructure
