Babatunde Muraina

Babatunde, a Communication and Media Strategist of over 20 years, is highly experienced in communication strategy, media production, media buying, public relations, customer relations and office administration. His in-depth analytical and leadership skills among other skill sets come in handy whilst focusing on tasks’ deliverables not limited to individual and brand promotion, publicity, project management, office administration, as well as stakeholders’ buy-in for policies, programs, products and brands. 

Skilled in analytical thinking, creative problem solving, strategic communication planning, public and media relations, office management, computer literacy and digital media savvy, he has been able to display his professionalism in both the private and public sectors given his vast experience garnered through journalism and marketing communication at Sketch Press Limited, Prime Reach Nigeria and Towers and Towers Communication before his sojourn into political communication and governance.

For 8 years, Babatunde, an Associate Member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), served as Special Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on e-Media between June 2011 and May 2019. 

In July 2019, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Lead Consultant of a portfolio media and strategy consulting company, Strycaz Consulting Limited, a 360-degree high-end communications solutions agency which provides enterprise and business support for companies in Oyo State and the South West of Nigeria. 

In 2021, as a result of Strycaz business expansion, the company established ‘Life Radio 107.5FM Ibadan, a broadcast media platform for enriching and enhancing the “Life” of its audience and host community. Babatunde, consequent to the recognition of his expertise, assumed the role of General Manager and Head of Station. A role he admirably and diligently executed until business demanded his skill in the media and communication industry.

In the year 2023, Babatunde assumed the enviable office of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of P Mayers Services, a Media Buying, Media Production, Media Strategy and Event Management, firm established to provide cutting edge solutions to communication broad based issues. 

This is in addition to being a Director at KokoDome Plus Limited, a hospitality business with over 30 years of operations in Ibadan.   

A graduate of Communication and Language Arts from the prestigious premier University, University of Ibadan, his career objective is to work with precision and strive for excellence at all times.
