SUMMARY
Since 2012, I have been a full-time freelance article writer for both English and
Malay for an online news portal. Apart from that, I was also given the task to
translate and edit articles.
I was fortunate to work with terrific clients, from the Prime Minister's Office, the
Malaysia Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD), The Federal Land
Development Authority (FELDA), political campaigns for Barisan Nasional affiliates
and product campaigns for Mc Donald's Malaysia.
Before this most recent freelance phase, I was a self-starting professional with
more than fifteen (15) years of experience in graphic design and art direction for
corporate and product identity, packaging, print collateral, advertising, annual
reports and multimedia. Special emphasis on conceptual design and
communication goals plus high attention to details.

Started in March 2012
Involved in journal publishing, background research, proofreading, editing,
photography and graphic designing.
2. Mantra Design, Melaka, Malaysia
Design Director (Self Employed/FreeLance)
Started in June 2006
Started Mantra Design for more diversity in my projects. Serving clients as a
small design studio where we create everything from marketing campaigns to
identity designs. It is more than a graphic design studio, as we pay special
attention to brand awareness and development, counsel our clients on how to
grow their brand with the changing times and trends.
As a Design Director, I have acquired a full range of skills from technical to
creative, concept to completion, with excellent management abilities and
presentation skills.
ACHIVEMENTS :
Branding consultation for Herbal and Wealth Products for Melaka Biotek and its
subsidiary companies. Responsible from creating brand identity, R&D product
lines ensuring brand development proceed efficiently and reflect targets. Create
and direct marketing collaterals including art direction on photography sessions
for direct mail marketing pieces.
3. RDA-Harris Design Group, Kuala Lumpur

Oversees multidisciplinay creative projects ranging from architectural
presentations, product design and magazine publishing. Leads for the overall
quality of work produced by the graphic department on budget and on time.

At Salz-Terachi, we maintain full-service client relationship. The projects range
from design print materials, organizing events and campaigns.
Achivements :
a. Royal Malaysian Armed Forces - 2 coffee table books were successfully
published for the RMAF namely; ‘Memoirs of MAF in Somalia’ and ‘RMAF Recruit
Regimen, Port Dickson – The History’
b. Royal Malaysian Navy - A coffee table book published for His Honorable Admiral
Memoirs upon his retirement.
c. Golf Tournament - A collaborate project between Negeri Sembilan State
Government and Salz-Terachi, our main role is to organize the tournament and
sponsorships.
d. ‘Jom Bersama ke Pesta Sukan’ - We are the event manager for Jabatan
Pendidikan Negeri Sembilan inaugural sports programme.
5. PENIAGAWATI (Malaysian Associaton of Bumiputra Women Entreprenuers)
Executive Secretary
1992 – December 1994
PENIAGAWATI is an NGO of Malaysia for Bumiputra Women Entreprenuers and
affiliated to FCEM, an international association for Women Entrepreneurs based in
France with 34 member countries throughout the world namely USA, Canada,
France, Netherland and Australia. Responsible to assist the President and its
Committee Members for International portfolio and correspondence affairs.
Performed highly duties as secretariat to assist the Organizing Chairman and liaise
with the FCEM President and member countries in its promotions, event
programmes and sponsorships local and overseas. Organized frequent business
talks and forums amongst members and government agencies, corporate
organizations and figures, and other Associations.

a. FCEM World Congress, Kuala Lumpur was a prestigious international event held
in Kuala Lumpur for winning in its bid to host by PENIAGAWATI. The Congress was
officiated by Honorable Dato Seri Dr Mahathir, Prime Minister of Malaysia, a closing
ceremony by Honorable Dato Seri Najib and the Award-Winning Gala attended by
the King, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
