I am Ayush Mitra, a data analytics enthusiast with a background in Information Technology. I graduated with a BTech from KIIT Bhubaneswar in 2024 and have since been honing my skills in data analysis, AI training, and prompt engineering. My journey into data analytics began during my undergraduate years when I worked on a brain tumor detection project. While my role focused on data preprocessing, it made me realize the power of clean, structured data in uncovering meaningful insights. That experience sparked my passion for analytics and set me on a path to mastering data-driven decision-making.

Currently, I am working remotely with Outlier AI, where I contribute to AI model training and prompt engineering. Through this role, I have developed a strong understanding of how AI models learn, how data influences outputs, and how to refine AI performance. Alongside this, I am actively upskilling in SQL, Excel, MySQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI, building a solid foundation for a future in data analytics.

Recently, I also completed an internship in market research, where I analyzed industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to generate actionable insights. This experience strengthened my ability to work with unstructured data, extract meaningful patterns, and translate findings into strategic recommendations. Additionally, I have developed strong proofreading and content refinement skills, which help me ensure clarity and precision in reports, research, and data-driven presentations.

I am particularly interested in leveraging data to drive business decisions, and I see data analytics as a bridge between technical expertise and strategic thinking. I have been learning how businesses can use AI-driven insights for better decision-making, particularly in financial advisory services. Inspired by my father’s financial advisory business, I aim to implement predictive analytics, client segmentation, and automation to optimize investment strategies and enhance client experiences.

One of my key strengths is my ability to filter information critically. In a world overwhelmed with data, I ensure that my insights are derived from credible sources, cross-verified for accuracy, and free from bias. Whether it's following the latest advancements in AI, market trends, or business strategies, I make a conscious effort to stay updated and apply relevant learnings to my work.

Beyond analytics, I am an advocate for structured learning and self-improvement. I believe in building skills through hands-on projects rather than just theoretical knowledge. While I am still at an early stage in my analytics journey, I am continuously working on real-world applications, internships, and certifications to gain practical exposure.

In the long run, my goal is to transition into data analytics roles in global firms and eventually contribute to applying AI and data-driven strategies in financial decision-making. Whether in corporate settings or entrepreneurial ventures, I am excited about using data to make smarter, more informed decisions.
