Ayomide Alabi

My name is Ayomide Alabi. I am an engineering graduate who has transitioned into the world of software development with a strong interest in building for the web. My journey started with curiosity about how websites are structured and how design translates into functionality. Over time, that curiosity grew into a commitment to learn and practice the tools that bring ideas to life on the internet. Today, I am actively developing my skills in frontend web development with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and user-friendly code.

I currently work with React, Tailwind, Typescript and Node.js which form the foundation of my projects. These technologies allow me to translate designs into responsive and interactive web pages that enhance user experience. Alongside coding, I have gained familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub. Learning how to manage code and collaborate with tools like these has been a big step in my growth as a developer. I have already applied these skills in real scenarios, including creating a website for a hackathon for an online farmers market. That project gave me the opportunity to practice structuring content, styling it for different devices, and integrating functionality while maintaining clean organization in my workflow.

My background in engineering continues to influence the way I approach programming. Problem-solving has always been central to my studies and that discipline translates well into writing code.

As I grow as a developer, my goal is to build a strong foundation in frontend technologies while gradually expanding into backend development. I want to become a well-rounded software engineer capable of handling every layer of web applications. Beyond technical skills, I value creativity and collaboration. I believe great software is built not just with code, but also with clear communication and a willingness to learn from others.

Outside of coding, I enjoy gaming, reading, and keeping up with new trends in technology. These hobbies fuel my creativity and inspire fresh ideas that I often carry back into my work. I see web development not just as a career path but as a craft I am determined to master.
