The Sloane Stephens Foundation is a national community based organization shaping the future of children by providing educational opportunities and encouraging healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and physical fitness. We empower children, from across the country, to dream big and achieve on and off the court. Sportsmanship Integrity Excellence Inclusiveness Initiated Volley Against Violence in Compton Unified School District. Provided more than 500 Holiday Meals to Poverello House in Fresno, CA for 2015/2016. Collected nearly a ton of shoes for Soles4Soles in partnership with the Miami Open,Charleston Open, Citi Open and New Haven Open Initiated Centennial High School tennis court rehabilitation project. 2015-2016 YEAR IN REVIEW Hosted the Ft. Lauderdale Boys & Girls Club tennis group at the Miami Open Introduced tennis to more than 1000 students in Compton Unified School District. Trained 40 teachers to teach grassroots level tennis at the 10 designated schools in Compton Unified School District Established 8 elementary and 2 middle after school elementary tennis programs in Compton Unified School District and lined mini courts at each school playground. Started processing 10 new Compton Unified elementary mini court sites for court lining in 2016/2017. Hosted adaptive tennis at William Clinton Jefferson Summer School Special Olympics for 300 Special Olympians.
