Accomplishments a) Project Tiltle: Furniture Hub Web Application(Ongoing) Description: An online portal for furniture maker and interior designer where they can display their wares, product and services. It is a multi-tennacy system whesre clients have full administrative control over their account. The portal also provide indexing for product enabling users to search furniture based on criteria such as closest location, furniture type and or division and price limit, etc. The application is developed using java technologies (Java EE7, Jersey,Spring security, etc). The front end is based on bootstrap and the database is Mysql with Liquibase as the database management tool. The application will be hosted on DigitalOcean cloud infrastructure using Docker as a deployment tool. It is undergoing testing presently on Whogohost CH Level 4 Cloud Hosting with Docker as the deployment tool. b) Project Tiltle: KFA CRM Web Application Description An online booking system developed for KFA EVENT CENTER where intending client can request for a date to host an event at the center. The application adminstrator review all request and approves the ones that meet their minimum requirement. Clients are notified via their portal on the system where among other things client can follow their respective activities on the system. The application was developed using java technologies (Java EE7) and primefaces. The front end is based on google material design and the database is Mysql. The application is deployed on AWS EC2 c) Project Tiltle: Mail Encryption Desktop Application Description This software was developed for military use in the areas of security and communication. The application could be used to send plain or encrypted mail, as well as to decrypt an encrypted received mail. In short, it encrypts or decrypts message based on user-defined encryption protocol. The application is swing based and the storage mechanism is plain file sysytem. d) Project Tiltle: Solar Panel Cost and Load Optimization Desktop App Description This application was designed for industrial use for determining the appropriate combination of solar panel components that will be utilized in powering a specific load at optimal cost based on the parameters of each component. The application is swing based and the storage mechanism is plain text file sysytem. e) Project Tiltle: Farm Produce Transaction Management Desktop App Description This software was developed for Joschris Investment Limited for themanagement of the firm transactions. The application has the following features: Register customers’ details; Keep track of each customer’s transaction record; Keep track of company’s expenditure and income; Generate e-report (e.g. receipt, transaction summary, etc.) and; Export data to excel spreadsheet for further analysis. The application is developed using JAVAFX, database is embedded Java DB [Derby database] f) Project Tiltle: Pollution Evaluation Software Description The software was developed for the evaluation of irradiance emanating from power plant. The software identifies the degree of irradiance in region around the plant. It helps in air quality control. The application is swing based and the storage mechanism is in memory M.Sc. Research Title: Dynamic Modeling and Simulation of Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit Riser Using Java Programming Language. Description Fluid catalytic cracking is required in modern day economy to meet marketdemand for high octane fuel. Available literature on simulation of fluid catalytic cracking riser have largely been restricted to steady state models and ignore the effect of coke deposition on the hydrodynamics of the system. Coke deposition on catalyst affects pressure balance in the reactor which in turn has a direct consequence on the catalyst circulation rate. Therefore, a mathematical model that will explain the dynamic effect of coke deposition on the hydrodynamics of fluid catalytic cracking riser is needed. Hence, this research.
