- Designed and developed a motion control system architecture for 6-parallel manipulator
system built in Robot Operating System (ROS) in Linux as Single Computer Software
based Distributed Control System (SCSDCS).
- Developed a serial communication linkage of ROS distributed system with Arduino IDE
to subscribe a command to actuator with feedback and publish the status of the sensors and
nodes.
- Verified the system developed firmware by testing it on the prototype with the designed
algorithm implemented for the motion control system in ROS.
- Implemented the ROS Multiple Machines Test (IOT based) over the designed control
system and verified its workability on a remote network to control IOs wirelessly.
- Designed and developed a cost-effective 2.5-axis CNC machine and system integrate-able
with Nd-Yag Laser device that was able to perform laser machining tasks.
- Supervised the decommissioning and re-commissioning of CO2 Laser CNC machine.
- Learned skills to develop 5 years project budget plan and worked at the initial stage of an
on-going research to develop new ideologies to maintain sustainability, a Green
Manufacturing Index (GMI), standards minimize environmental impacts caused by
manufacturing firms.
