Augusto Lima

I worked for ELR company as the head of communication and design department for 4 years and then I moved to work as a freelancer. Some of my clients were well known brands like Hush Puppies or Parmalat, and I did as well more creative work for science laboratories and for art projects in Portugal, Spain and the USA, including a aprticipation in the Bushwick Open Studios.

These last years I engaged in several video projects including a Biji Biji environmental/sustainable energy mini-doc in Malasya, a presentation for the modern art museum in Vilnius, Lithuania, a collection of videos for the BB Gourmet restaurants in Porto, a roadtrip documentary for a campervan company in Australia, several hotels promotional clips in Penang (Malasya), Albani (Australia) and S. Miguel (Azores).

Two years ago a project with 2 other people from Studio Bravo in London was selected for the Light Festival in Iceland. Shortly after that we started shooting the short movie "I am Always Here" that was selected and presented this year at the Cannes festival in France.

From commercial to more artistic projects, I keep a really close relation with all the video components, including shooting, editing and sound recording and design.

For several years I have been also a music promoter and music editor through my label, Mouca.net. I have organizer more than 500 shows in 3 continents and I have a big experience in production as well.
