Hi, I am Austin Ekpo, a versatile and very competent freelance writer.

Lots of people accuse me of being a compulsive scribbler. But I just don't write because I feel compelled by something I don't understand, I write because I want to help people.

What fascinates me most is culture and how culture has evolved over the centuries. I can never get enough of how the culture of a community binds the people and gives them a shared destiny, a goal, an identity that sets them apart from others.

In that respect, I am always exploring how a global culture can be the one thing that would make the world a better place.

Technology is one area where there is a common global culture that transcends religion, tribe or race. And that is why I love reading and writing about technology and it's impacts on people even in the remotest corners of the world.

Looking ahead, I ask just this question, how would the world look like in 50 years?

I am sure technology would play a big role in that future for better of for worse. Hopefully for good. Join me as we chronicle the cultural evolution of the world mostly through technology.
