He was able to proactively drive the program in close collaboration with our government counterparts. He led the full process from design to delivery – identifying implementation areas, developing targeting/selection criteria and approaches, establishing efficient and transparent cash transfer delivery modalities, and ensuring robust data collection and monitoring. Assema was also the Co-Lead for the Afar Cash Working Group, ensuring strong coordination, and providing technical support for the development of Multi-Purpose Cash Guidance for the Region.
