My key principal is to strive to create great looking design for static, digital and moving image-based productions. I believe the purpose of graphic design is to creatively develop ideas so that images communicate the message in a way that people can understand. I believe that I am an expert in understanding the visual language of the audience. CURRENT POSITION Ashleyreuben.com Freelance Motion Graphic Designer & Art Director June 2015 – Present I take on work of all shapes and sizes for both static and motion-based graphics projects always with a promise to give each and every project my best. I continually try to push myself using the latest techniques as well as those that I have learnt and come easy to me from years of experience. I offer a full post production service from the conception of the initial idea as well as working to a brief. I am able to help with conceptual brainstorming and art direction as well as fully produce final animations in 2D/3D. I also have the contacts and know how to partner with agencies, production companies and brands to deliver outstanding motion design, animation and VFX. PAST EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Deluxe Broadcast Services Senior Designer November 2013 to June 2015 I was the lead designer in a fast-paced graphics department, creating, producing and managing design projects, ranging from channel rebrands, commercials, promos, print, packaging and on-screen elements. All graphics adhered to brand guidelines both locally and internationally. With my knowledge of advertising and promotion I was required to approach all projects with the bigger picture in mind. I worked across a wide variety of integrated 360 campaigns. Understanding and ensuring that core brand values were at the heart of every campaign as well as having a wide understanding of the business objectives was a must to succeed in this position.
