Ashley Nekesa Masiga

I am a passionate and detail-oriented Frontend Developer with a strong foundation in creating visually appealing, responsive, and user-centric web applications. With a deep interest in building accessible and modern digital experiences, I have specialized in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Tailwind CSS. I also have experience working with Git, responsive design principles, and component-based architecture to ensure that every website I create looks great and functions smoothly across all devices.

I recently graduated from GoMyCode where I completed intensive training in full-stack web development. This experience not only strengthened my technical skills but also gave me a solid understanding of backend development using Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js. However, I discovered that my true strength and passion lie in frontend development—bringing ideas to life through clean code, interactive interfaces, and delightful user experiences.

Throughout my learning journey, I have worked on several hands-on projects, including landing pages, portfolio sites, and fully responsive applications. These projects allowed me to practice converting Figma designs into real websites, using Tailwind CSS to streamline styling, and deploying applications to platforms like Vercel.

As a developer, I am always curious and eager to learn. I stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and best practices to continuously improve my work. Whether working independently or collaborating with a team, I communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.

I am currently seeking a frontend developer internship or junior role where I can apply my skills in a real-world environment, contribute meaningfully to a development team, and continue growing as a professional. My goal is to help build accessible and inclusive web applications that make a difference, particularly in areas that empower marginalized communities.

Outside of coding, I enjoy exploring creative design tools, contributing to online tech communities, and sharing knowledge with others who are starting out in tech. I believe that technology should be inclusive, and I am excited to be part of a field that constantly evolves and pushes boundaries.
