In my role, I led a comprehensive overhaul of a previous web application that was built on Ruby on Rails with a
Postgres database hosted on Heroku. Recognizing its sluggish performance, exacerbated by design choices
made by the previous team as the platform expanded, we undertook a complete revamp. Our primary focus
was on enhancing the user interface and experience, resulting in a modernized design.
Additionally, we strategically replaced the underlying technology Node/NextJS, eliminating all performance
bottlenecks. This effort involved seamlessly migrating over 25,000 accounts and handling millions of analytics
data points. The migration also encompassed importing and meticulously adjusting content, including Latex
formatting and custom styles, to ensure seamless integration. As part of our strategic roadmap, we successfully
launched mobile applications for both iOS and Android using React Native. Mobile development lies at the

I developed the native iOS application utilizing the Swift programming language, adopting the RxSwift
framework in conjunction with Storyboards. Although SwiftUI was available at the time, it had not gained
widespread adoption. To facilitate essential functionalities such as storage, authentication, database
management, and notifications, I leveraged the capabilities of Firebase. Additionally, I implemented serverless
functions for the backend, ensuring efficient and scalable operations.
Mobile Developer Instant Chef

Developed a comprehensive suite of mobile applications, consisting of four iOS and Android apps, utilizing
React Native. These apps were designed as on-demand chef platforms, modeled after the functionality of the
Lyft app. The backend infrastructure was hosted on Amazon EC2, with Loopback 4.0 layered on top of NodeJS,
and MySQL serving as the app's database.
The React Native framework was exclusively employed to build the entire application suite, employing Web
Sockets for real-time communication between the apps. Geographically targeted job advertisements were
seamlessly delivered to specific service providers, offering them the ability to promptly accept or decline job
requests, enhancing the end-user experience.
For secure and seamless payment processing, Stripe Connect Express was implemented. To provide a
comprehensive overview of job statistics, in-progress tasks, analytics, and earnings, a basic administrative
dashboard was developed. The dashboard was constructed using ReactJS and SemanticUI, combining
functionality with a visually appealing user interface.
