Hey y’all! My name is Ariella Gibson and I’m here to proofread your books, blogs, marketing content, and other materials.

I’m a word nerd and love to read, so I’ve always been naturally drawn to proofreading, even as early as elementary school. I find myself catching errors in practically everything I read, from books and blogs to Facebook posts and advertisements.

A proofreader is the last pair of eyes to go over your text, typically after the copy editor. I’ll check for spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, homophones, and formatting errors. I primarily reference the Chicago Manual of Style.

I proofread a number of different types of text including books, essays, manuscripts, blog posts, website content, newsletters, and marketing materials. I look forward to getting to know you!
