PROJECTS DESCRIPTION:
TITLE: IEEE802.11p based Locomate Development
Platform: Linux
Team Size: 10 Members.
Role: Safety Applications development for ASD / Bluetooth Application handling / GPS data post processing / Android programming
This project is on Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment (WAVE) IEEE802.11p. It consists of different units – a vehicle mounted On Board Unit (OBU)/After-Market safety device(ASD) and Road Side Unit (RSU). Devices operate in the 5.9 GHz DSRC band (Dedicated Short-Range Communications). 11p has its own message set based on WSMP (WAVE Short Message Protocol) and our project features Dual Stack along with IP services on IPv6. This project is ported on different Hardware architectures and combination of Radio/SOC chipsets from Atheros.
Project: Hospital Management System (HMS):
Description: Hospital Management System covers the workflow within the hospital and maintains the records of all the patients undergoing various treatments. This project has been divided into six modules: Enter Patient Details, View Patient Details, Modify Patient Record, Delete Patient Record and Doctors Enquiry.
Environment: C, Linux GCC OS, MS-Power Point, MS-Word.
Project: Banking
Description: Bank system covers the basic workflow within a bank and maintains customer details like Amount deposited, Amount withdrawn, Display a particular record corresponding to account number, Display all records, Modify a record and Delete a record.

Project: Autonomous Robot with Multiple Functions.
Description: This project is a real-time obstacle and depth avoidance approach for mobile robots that has been developed and implemented. It permits the detection of unknown obstacles and depths simultaneously with the steering of the mobile robot to avoid collisions and advance toward the target. In addition to this it is also capable of metal detection.
This Robot moves autonomously using dc geared motors for robot wheels which are turned by giving pulses generated by the microcontroller. If there is any obstacle in the way of the Robot, the obstacle sensor is activated and the microcontroller gives pulses accordingly.
Project: Electronic Voting Machine (EVM)
Description: This system is designed for the improvisations that aim at reliability, security, scalability and flexibility of the model. In addition, it also has a simple circuit for vote tallying.
The components used for circuit design are:
IC 7473, BCD to 7-segment decoder(IC 74LS47), binary counter (DM7490A) and logic gates IC 7486 (EX-OR) and IC 7404 (NOT).
