The mixed-use development project of high rise buildings is about 250,000m2 of built area. It comprises of Hotel
tower, Office tower and 3 no’s Residential tower each having 45+ floors on a single Podium of 8 floors with Parking
facilities, Swimming pool and Landscaping on podium roof floor plus 4 Basement floors with car parking facilities
and a substitute natural Gas plant. The entire 5 high rise towers having roof Steel structure with marble cladding and
stainless steel louvers at the top.
Key Deliverables
Monitoring the day to day activities are carried out consistent with the company Safety Operating Procedures
and guidelines subject to the Client, Project Consultant and Legislative requirements.
Advising the cost effective and practically possible solutions to construction team to maintain the HSE
standards in projects.
Coordinating with the Consultant Safety and all Subcontractor Safety personnel’s to conduct HSE inspections
and Surveys based on the project schedule.
Review Method Statements and Conducting Specific Risk Assessment for major works e.g. Heavy lifting, Steel
structure erection at the tower roof, Rope Access Climbing, Radiography activity (NDT), Construction Time
Units (CTU Elevators), etc. and monitoring implementation to ensure safe system of work is in place.
Developing and implementing site Emergency Response procedures and Evacuation plans.
Controlling and ensuring strict implementation of Permit to Work systems
Coordinating with the construction teams and all sub contractors for the internal Safety Load testing of Tower
Cranes, Passenger Hoist, Suspension Cradles, Mast Climber platforms, Loading Platforms and all lifting
equipments/gears for Third party Inspections/Certifications.
Monitoring and controlling of Environmental issues such as Air Pollution, Hazardous Waste Management,
Noise, etc. and recommending control measures to the concern.
Coordinating and Conducting Weekly/Monthly Site HSE Meetings, Safety Inductions and Tool Box Talks.
Conducting specific HSE related trainings for the safe handling of Abrasive Wheels, ARC welding and Gas
cutting, Fire Fighting Equipments, etc.
Corrective & preventive action taken in respect to the audits and investigations’ findings.
Ensuring MSDS documents are well maintained and Hazard Communication (HazCom) programs are well
reached to the related workforce.
Investigating the root cause of HSE complaints forwarded by the Consultant, Project teams, External parties,
and all Sub-contractors and report the result to the site HSE manager and follows up to ensure that corrective
and timely actions are taken.
Supervising Safety teams, Fire fighting teams and Site Security guards.
Investigating and Reviewing all the Incidents and accidents involving personnel, plant and equipment
including dangerous occurrences.
Identify and communicate Personal Protective Equipment requirements and train the employees to ensure
that the PPE requirements are properly implemented and enforced by training.
Preparation of all the HSE related reports such as Monthly, Weekly, Non-Conformance reports, Investigation
reports and etc.
Supervises the regular inspection of Fire fighting, Safety and Emergency response equipment.
