Employment Student educator / Operating Department Practioner {Theatre Practioner) Burns and Plastics Theatres April 2013 to present This is my current role where i work within the Burns and Plastics theatres. I cover weekends and night shifts so have an extensive experience in different specialities. In this role I am responsible for students development and training. I teach them one on one and also as a group. My role also includes coaching them to qualify and completing all legal documents and paperwork. I also developed the 76 page student handbook which is used within the University of Leicester. I have an excellent relationship with the team at present which will be ideal for promoting the deliverance of the best practice and outlining the visions and objectives of the trust, which is of imperative in terms of patient safety. I have also become our theatres tissue viability link. In that role i have improved our training figures dramatically as this was an area that needed an input to meet trust standards. On the afternoon of the deadline the company itself rang me to say there artwork wouldn’t be ready and that they would have to do it for next week’s paper. I then had find a replacement ASAP as this was a full page advert so needed filling to which I found a client who could use the advert but only had pictures and text but wasn’t set as an advert. I asked them to e-mail these over and worked on the advert to get it ready for the paper. I proofed it back to them and managed to get this approved for the paper 30 minutes before the deadline. I feel this shows my ability to work under pressure and my flexibility as I was willing to work over my shift hours to get this finished. Sales flow management - to Sep 02-Oct 05 I was a Stock management in the head office at HRPC on Radford Road, Nottingham which looked after over 300 employees. In this role i was responsible for keeping 96 branches nationwide fully stock for the suppliers i dealt with. As the company is a international company (Wolseley Centres) there were two colleagues doing a similar role but dealing with the remaining suppliers.
