An effort to perform several Oracle architecture enhancements to include migration to a COTS
solution that supports disparate internal subsystems.
Role: Antonio was chosen as a Sr Systems Engineer/Admin to offer DevOps support in both
maintenance and enhancement swim lanes.

The project was an effort to add several enhancements to the client’s integrated eligibility system.
There was heavy concentration on Java and Oracle PL/SQL design to update rules for determining
Medicare eligibility due to State’s adoption of Affordable Care Act going into 2019.
Role: Antonio was selected as one of the team leads. His primary task was to develop in Java (JSP,
EJB), building new system enhancements. He also created stored procedures in Oracle DB executed
from Java batch programs and aided junior developers with their tasks as well.

Project: Client is a leader in providing military education.
Duration: 17 months
The project was an effort to replace several Oracle-based legacy education systems with a COTS
(Commercial Off the Shelf) Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System
(LMS). The effort included a lengthy multi-phased data migration task (SIS, LMS, and Parature Help
Desk software) and interface redesign as the legacy SIS/LMS communicated with 10 external
systems.
Role: As the Interfaces Task Lead, Antonio oversaw the design and development of interfaces to
external partner group systems. He wrote Oracle Database schemas to support cloud applications
(Microsoft Azure). He also assisted in designing SSIS packages to aid in moving data between
Oracle Database and SQL Server. He authored a Help Desk Migration Strategy and aided in the
authoring of a System Integration Plan. He created a VMware environment for the development
team to include Linux virtual machines for source control (Mercurial), application server (Apache
HTTP Server), and database (MySQL and Oracle Database). In addition, he aided in the
development of a secondary SIS to meet client needs.
