Anna Mikaela Manuel

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented video editor with extensive experience in creative production, social media content creation, and digital publication design. I began learning video editing in 2015 and have been actively producing and posting video edits from 2018 to the present. My technical proficiency includes Adobe After Effects, CapCut, Alight Motion, and Canva, which I regularly use to create polished, engaging, and platform-optimized content.

I have managed a social media account dedicated to video editing and publication materials, where I oversaw content development from conceptualization to final posting. This role strengthened my understanding of branding, audience engagement, and digital storytelling. In addition, I have edited and published my own YouTube videos using my personal equipment and resources, handling filming, scripting, editing, thumbnail creation, and channel optimization independently. This self-managed experience taught me end-to-end production workflow, consistency in output, and adaptability in meeting the requirements of various content formats.

Beyond personal projects, I have also worked as a freelance video editor, producing short-form edits, event videos, promotional content, and motion graphics for clients. I collaborated closely with individuals and organizations, ensuring each project aligned with their vision and timeline. These experiences helped refine my ability to manage client expectations, respond to feedback, and deliver high-quality work under time constraints.

My organizational involvement further enhanced my creative and leadership skills. As Director of the Digital Arts Committee for SLCN Batch Astraea, I oversee the production of student council publication materials, provide creative direction, and coordinate media outputs. Previously, as the Director of the UST SHS STEM Society Media Committee, I supervised layout, editing, and design, collaborating with writers and graphic artists to ensure cohesive publication releases.

These roles, combined with my background in writing, graphic design, and project coordination, have allowed me to develop a strong balance between creativity and technical execution. I am highly organized, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement in both skills and workflow efficiency. Whether working independently or with a team, I bring consistency, creativity, and a strong work ethic to every project.

I aim to further expand my expertise in video editing and motion graphics by contributing to projects that require artistic storytelling, strong visual impact, and high-level technical skill.
